WebFeb 1, 2016 · - Fortifications can be shot through, but a certain skill level has to be reached to fire through a fortification when not adjacent to it. - A built fortification doesn't have a floor on top, and so can be used to enter downwards diagonally (at least by flyers), unless you build a floor/wall/fortification on top of it. WebSelect your marksdwarf squad. To ensure that only bone bolts are used in combat and training: Select the exiting bolts and hit d to delete them. Hit c, select bolts, press Enter, then hit M and select bone. Ensure that the resulting bone bolts are used in training and combat by pressing T and C. Change the amount to 200 with + / - .

WebThis won't work for goblin kidnappers and thieves (which all kobolds are I think) though as they'll slip away from your dwarves and try to fight/escape. In your particular situation, you need to build a down or up/down staircase to let dwarves up. This was extremely useful for artificial waterfalls, so you could have the water fall as far as you needed, and then have a drainage tunnel to the edge.
