WebPuppy Linux cannot find the sfs file. When I boot into my Puppy Linux on a USB drive, it loads initially then says it cannot find "puppy_precise_5.7.1.sfs" despite it being on the drive. WebFeb 14, 2024 · Some computers , no problems. Other computers, it will not find the puppy files. It has to do with how the drive is identified and found by the boot process. This is trying to be fixed by changing the code in the init. This is a test version of eSlacko with the code changes being used to test ideas.

Copy the vmlinuz and initrd.gz from iso to /boot and run grub4dos installer.
