The sample group, selected by the random sampling technique, included 36 EFL learners from a university in Northeastern Thailand. Webb2009 data are used. PISA is an OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) Programme for International Student Assessment that measures 15-year-old students’ proficiency in three main domains: reading, mathematics and science. The Finnish PISA 2009 data consist of 203 sampled schools and 6,415 students.
